I think this is a great idea. I've been wanting to be part of something like this for a while. The blog/website is a better idea than the video review. To do video review, you have to be able to present them well and it's either to make something readable than watchable.

I make websites, but it wouldn't be anything I could rush.

If this isn't something thought-through and professional, it will likely flop.

I don't like people talking into their own camera. It annoys me. Seems unnecessarily egotistical. Also, I have to set aside like 15 minutes to hear someone talk about music. I'd rather listen to music in that time. With a written review I can do both at the same time.

I'm not going to limit people to genres anymore. Say an albums coming out, I'll just say one of you has to review it and one of you will pick.

I'd actually been planning to start a music review site and I was going to ask a few users from this site to contribute and get ad revenue. I wasn't planning to mention it for a while but I think it's good that people know that this is a potential opportunity.

That's a good idea. Not restricting it to Youtube, but with an option for audio and video.
