My mum is obsessed with Paul Weller so I am going for the Jam on this one. Plus I like their music more.

I'm going TVPs, not because I nominated them, but because as much as I really like The Jam (who doesn't? They were great!), I feel my attachment to TVPs is much more personal and deep. Treacy just moves me more than Weller.

I've already promoted TVPs, if things go bad for them, I'll c/p what I'd written then. If The Jam win, in all fairness, an awesome band will have won and it'll be fine. I'm perfectly pleased with how far the TVPs have taken themselves in this tourney; and if you haven't decided yet, go listen to ...And Don't the Kids Just Love It or Yes Darling, But Is It Art?

I love The Jam (although I'm not sure I would call them post-punk/new wave exactly.. But I can see why someone else might)

And I LOVE The TV Ps (although i think of them as more twee that post punk.. And I know I am ina minority in that score)

ok listening to 'how i learned to love the bomb' now... The TV Ps have it! 😜
