If you have the slightest interest in classical piano performance, I STRONGLY recommend watching this. This is THE best concert video available by THE greatest pianist of the 20th century. To say it's mindblowing doesn't quite do it justice, it's just 😲 The profound understanding of the music, the imagination, the control, the virtuosity, the colours, the layers, the complete freedom... And he shows here that he could play anything amazingly, from Mozart to Liszt. Oh, and he was 82 YEARS OLD!!! Many people can't even wipe their own ass when they're that age, let alone play the piano like no one else has or probably ever will.

Why did I open this thread? I guess you can call it an appreciation thread for this instrument, one which can cover a massive playing range (the most of any instrument?). I don't think there's another instrument that could sound so good by itself.
So.. yeah... I get in the mood sometimes where I just like to listen to some of the pieces/songs where piano is at the forefront. Of course it can also be an ideal accompaniment in pretty much all kinds of genres. Posted are some of my favourites, I didn't want to clog up the thread with YT vids already in the first post, so only six for now.
