Ever since Icky Thump came out in 2007 I've constantly gone back to the song 300 MPH Torrential Outpour Blues. Love the swagger of that song, I'm sure I've listened to it several hundred times at this point.

Also, the title track of Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness is a song I've listened to quite often as far back as I can remember.

just to clarify, this isn't about those songs you listen to over and over and over -lately-, but ALL-TIME. Like years and years of coming back to listening to a song over and over..

i purposefully picked songs that weren't from this year, that have been around a while, so that i knew in my tree bark that they definitely were songs i could listen to over-and-over.

also, 11 days ago i missed posting my 1 year anniversary on this site. i think that's the paper anniversary, so i'll try to remember to print this page out and cherish it forever.

I think it's funny that I chose now to check BEA, because I'm presently listening to "A Star Is Born" from Hercules on repeat while doing other stuff. But yeah, I have a handful of these. And what's interesting is that they're rarely my actual "favorite" songs. There's just something about them that makes them never get old.
