I'm voting for Nick Drake. I'll be fine if Stone Roses go on, because it's an excellent record, but frankly Five Leaves Left means much much more to me.

Dang, the Stone Roses have been continually growing on me since I joined this site. But seriously, they don't hold a candle to Nick Drake.

They're both really nice albums, neither of which I am head over heels for...But they're both really nice. Nick Drake's is a tad nicer, though I could see myself enjoying The Stone Roses more and more in the future.

5 years ago, it would have easily been Stone Roses, but I've been obsessed with Five Leaves Left this year, so Nick Drake by a narrow margin

I love both lots and lots and lots, and both could quite easily be on my overall chart. That said, Five Leaves Left still seems like a pretty easy choice here.

Both are somewhat underwhelming to me, but The Stone Roses more so. So I voted for Nick Drake.

Ugh. Tough one, but still, there is something about The Stone Roses that doesn't quite click with me, whereas Nick Drake is an artist I absolutely love. I do have to say though, Roses is still a really impressive album.

Yikes. Five Leaves Left is #53 on my chart currently whereas The Stone Roses is #68. It's close, but I have to go with Nick on this one.
