What, it's too in thrall to the Talking Heads, it features embarrassing attempts to tackle larger issues lyrically and totally misses its mark, and it lacks any fun?

It was pitchforks damn 9.1 rating and hyponymy of this album that made it so much more popular than their earlier albums. At least that is my opinion, Wrong as it is.

I agree, but it's just more popular. got more attention. I do like it slightly better than Saturday = Youth though. Before The Dawn Heals is easily my personal favorite

whoaoa ah just realized that this album is by far the highest ranked M83 album. How is that even... it's.. not fair..

This is a really good album but it doesnt hold a candle to some of their other stuff, ie Before the Dawn Heals, Dead Cities, Saturday = Youth.

I was blown away when I first heard this album. I thought it would ultimately bore me as a double album, but it's fantastic.
