I love bagpipes! That's probably because I'm Scottish, but I still just love the sound of them.

Not a fan of bagpipes but sometimes they can sorta fit into songs like on this track.

I love it. Maybe because I don't hear bagpipes that often and it makes this its sound unique. A think bagpipes have a beautiful sound.

As for me, I like them when they play traditional music that is fit for the instrument. When I hear them on pop or rock albums they can be okay and add something to the album, or they can be shit. When I was 10, I thought Korn's use of them was badass! But I was 10...

And I'm having a hard time remembering many examples of other artists using them, but I know I've heard many. I kinda (but not really) like the way the White Stripes put 'em to use on that one track on "Icky Thump". I forget the name of it, I know it was a cover.

Also doesn't Godspeed use them in some of their music?

Anyway, I'm about 35% like 'em
maybe 10% love
and 55% dislike.

I very very rarely like bagpipes. I feel pretty similarly about harmonica. Those tones are just grating. And yet i do generally like the accordion and harmonion
