Well there goes the best album left in the tourney, guess my next favorite after that is Slanted & Enchanted. At least that won it's match.

This is close. Very close. Yerself is all over the place, I can't figure out where they're going with it. You know what Psychocandy is trying to do. On the other hand, Yerself had some very interesting moments, musically. It's better songs vs. interesting music. Psychocandy's songs are consistently better; Yerself's music is not as consistently interesting.

Slight edge to the Chain.

Yah I voted Psychocandy. Neither actually do as much for me as I sometimes feel they ought to, but I definitely dig Psychocandy more.

Mercury Rev have a great whimsical, psychedelic, pastoral atmosphere going on in Yourself Is Steam but I much prefer what they would do on Boces. Jesus and the Mary Chain managed to create one of the sexiest albums outside of black music on their debut. Easily Psychocandy.
