A Ghost Is Born by Wilco

Getting hard onto this again. Damn! the tone and the beauty of tweedys solos on here are literally see inspiring. Pure molten slabs of emotion! And this album has some great songwriting too. I never really have it it's due.

V.A. - Angola Soundtrack The Unique Sound of Luanda (1965 - 1976)

I've been listening a lot of angolan music lately, and this compilation is really a treasure, for it is very hard to find many albums from that time and place. It's amazing how autentic it all is, since many music genres originated there and aren't found anywhere else.

Sure, try her self-titled, I figure you'll like it though it is pretty long (about an hour and a half I think), and it isn't really ambient music in the truest sense (it isn't good as background music), I think it deserves undivided attention, so if I were you I would set aside some time for it and just enjoy it. 😄

Hypnotic wonderland. Listened to it with my eyes closed at like 3:00 in the morning. Best ambient I've heard in a long long time, and though I did see it compared to Klaus Schulze meeting Liz Harris, it isn't dark at all, though that comparison is accurate in other ways. It isn't dark ambient and it isn't pastoral ambient it is like...well it is hypnotic and colourful. Kinda transcendental almost. But full of life and such. I feel like the lovely album art is a good representation of the content. She has released a massive amount of music in a short amount of time, and this year and last she has released twelve albums which I intend to listen to because I'm kinda in love with the concept of them. They're each one representative of like...the moon in each month? I'm not entirely sure but, for instance, Ballade for a Wolf Moon is January's, then Ballade for a Snow Moon is February's, etc. I'm listening to the Wolf Moon one (in November lol) and it is pretty great. I just wanna listen to everything on her bandcamp she is that amazing (oh oh and prolific! I rarely get to use that word.)

Is it music for me? What would appeal most for me? 😄
