ahh you're right. confused myself. Barrett and Gilmour were friends befre Pink Floyd and played together but Gilmour didn't join until after it was recorded. Well, Gilmour still played on the Barrett solo albums

First i dont enjoy david gilmour albums (except wish you were here)
Second this album have an amazing journey through the space (some Songs)
Third i see the madness and the grandiosity of the voice of Syd Barret
fourth this album is unique and i cant find another like this

It's bit surprising that piper's losing this in huge gap, I voted for JD but piper is still one of best debut album

Both have been huge staples in their respective genres. Both of them are extremely potent. Both of them have created some of the most interesting and innovative songs of the last century. Both of them are so brilliant. This is quite a tough one, but Unknown Pleasures has stuck out more with me and it's the one out of both of them I revisit the most often.

This one hurts. And right after Is This It lost by one vote, no less...

My vote goes to Piper. I like Unknown Pleasures, but it's not even remotely close. Still, it's unfortunate that either one of these would be eliminated in the 3rd round. There are several things that have made it/will make it into the 4th round that have far less business being there than either of these (or some other eliminated also-rans). Luck of the draw, I suppose.
