Yeah basically this. I ended up voting Funeral because frankly its new enough I feel like the options of covers haven't been exhausted yet, whereas some other albums (no longer here but for example Rumours) have been done to death. I'd be equally happy with Blue Lines, though.

Honestly I can't imagine a Doolittle cover sounding good. The album's charm is in its obnoxiousness, and I don't see how it would work without identical instrumentation.

I can see where both of you are coming from, and while I'm inclined to lean towards nezzle's argument, perhaps it's best to select from a list of albums people are most familiar with to begin with for the sake of simplicity, and if this is successful, when we do it again we can broaden the choices through nominations.
