The idea was for others to answer the question and possibly to pose ideas about getting more feedback. The idea was not to ask for more feedback because people saw this thread

If you want feedback: it's predictable. It's another chart with great, though predictable taste in classics and predictable to questionable tastes in anything released since 2000 (with what little is represented), screaming Rolling Stone and no personality. If I rated charts, I'd give you a poor rating because I can't use it for anything, having heard 70/80 of the albums and frankly having little interest in the albums I haven't heard based on the albums you've chosen to surround them with. I suggest you stick around on this or another music forum and continue exploring niches until you're unique enough to be interesting.

It's like life. You got to get more involved and interact more with those around you for people to start taking notice. There's a reason this or the Rate My Chart thread draws particular ire, it's the worst possible way to initiate the conversation as it mainly comes across as selfish and attention-seeking even if that wasn't the intention (I don't think it was, at least purposefully). Just look up some charts you find interesting, give a nice comment (a geniune comment, not an undertone of I-rated-your-chart-you-better-rate-or-comment-on-mine) and maybe someone will take the time to look up your chart as well. Or get involved here on the forums, as users will get to know you better and become more interested in finding out more about your favorite music and albums. Just have fun, the discovery of new music in the end is IMO more important than what one presents on a personal chart, Always Moving Forward.

OK, my two cents here: You're new here. It's fine to ask for this, you're still learning your way around, I probably did something redundant and/or unfriendly to the forums like this early on. Others have clarified well where else to go.

That said, I've learned as a result of being here, that, IMO, a rating means very little. I like them still for a few reasons - it lets me know whose tastes I mesh with, who's harsh, who's not, it's a way to give recs, and some of the comments get really intelligent/witty/funny/interesting/kind. That said, as to the number, I've stopped caring as much. Does a 5/100 hurt? Yeah. I'd like to think my taste has some redeeming factor. But this site has made me realize more and more that it's MY taste.

Anyhow, just my two cents.
