Despite the major dissapointment of her recent self-titled, might still go Annie cuz of love for her previous three releases (although Strange Mercy's the only one true kicker), but GKMC was excellent and I liked Section.80 a lot too, so this might be a tougher decision than predicted

GKMC is truly one of the greatest albums ever made. Section 80 is also pretty cool. And his verse on that song... Forget the name, maybe "Control" where he called out all those other rappers was epic. And amazing. I haven't heard anything else by him. But yeah, he's in my top 5 fave contemporary musicians. And I think his next album is one of the top 5 most intriguing and interesting things that I can look forward to in life. Whenever it happens, I don't know, I will be a happy and stoked mofo.

St Vincent is kinda cool. Haven't gotten into her too much honestly. I've only heard the album Strange Mercy in full. I can't remember anything else. I remember being kind of
Intrigued by the album at times and other times being just bored.

Yeah, Kendrick . So so easily Kendrick.

I know some people are voting 'St. Vincent Vs. Good Kid Maad City' 🙄

But Kendrick really does have a much more impressive overall discography that St. Vincet when you add in his self-titled hour long EP, Section.80 and Overly Dedicated. Plus Cartoons & Cereal and that verse on Control.

St. Vincent is still a fantastic artist, but Kendrick Lamar is honestly one of the best hip-hop artists of the past 10 years.

That being said, I know Kendrick is winning 😨 But I just wanted to make sure people were stacking everything by him up instead of just that one album.

And apart from Love This Giant, I think I've given ever single St. Vincent album a 75/100... Like, they're all pretty good, and have 1-2 really great tracks.. But nothing too solid.

So. yeah. Kendrick Lamar.

Judging off of GKMC and St. Vincent, Kendrick by faaaaaar.

Not to say that St. Vincent is a bad album or anything, it's superb. But it's no GKMC.

St Vincent is just one of those artists that I can't behind, whereas Kendrick is one of the most exciting contemporary artists out there.

Kendrick is a great storyteller, but I have to be in the minority and give it to St. Vincent. I love the chamber pop-meets-henry cow sort of thing her first two albums were about. Actor is a favorite. This was a tough call to make though, but I know Kendrick is going to win. 😜

St. VIncent bores me (haven't heard the last album though). GKMC I thought was excellent. Therefore voting Lamar.

I've never liked GKMC nearly as much as many here do, but St. Vincent really does nothing for me, for some reason. Lamar easily.
