Very well put together. Didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would or connect with it as easily as I thought I would, but even after a good amount of listens it still has more for me to discover, I think. 'Sitting By The Window' and 'Come In The Morning' are a couple of the standouts, imo.

Great album. ' Unfortunately this band never delivered anything else like this one, a stunning, one of the best ever debut albums.

"Moby Grape is one of the finest (perhaps the finest) album to come out of the San Francisco psychedelic scene, brimming with great songs and fresh ideas while blessedly avoiding the pitfalls that pockmarked the work of their contemporaries -- no long, unfocused jams, no self-indulgent philosophy, and no attempts to sonically re-create the sound of an acid trip." (allmusic)

Otherwise very good, though I prefer Oar.

                          AAAAAAAAAAAAMAAZIIIIIIIIIIIIING!

I love this album
Omaha is one of the best songs of the 60s for me

"I would like to born into a show of these guys, it would be so Bloomy. Moby Grape was one of that bands that also had enormous potential, but for some reason, fell into the abyss of oblivion, not as deep as those of the undertones but an abyss. Moby Grape" showed one of the best "Mixed" bands of the 60s. Had the power and speed of the musical "The Who", the charisma of the "kinks" and madness and aggression of "The Rolling Stones". At a time when rock was evolving quickly, Moby Grape used this evolution to improve their gear and play in a highest level, and they should be included in this list, by presenting a quick rock with melodies and harmonies. "Hey Grandma" begins already showing its claws to the public, with its fierce riff initiation, and its powerful guitar but with lyrics that are absurdly intelligent (and sometimes funny). The album will being dictated in simple melodies (with all the band using their ability), usually accelerated. "Omaha" begins as a simple music, it progresses until gain strength to blow up like a bag of hot air, One of the most influential rock songs, with their classics three chord progression that shaped that musical genre. There sentimental songs like "Sitting By The window" What slow down the album, calming it a bit, but the band does not let the album freeze, the album album they soon begins to tailoring song for song to create an electrical spark of 1967 megawatts. Moby Grape will perhaps be remembered as that band that had so much potential but for some reason couldn't fit in the world. but I Actually wanted they to see Moby Grape as an influential band, with so much potential, which for some reason left a legacy album. But wow, It is a fucking amazing album" - Me in my chart
