This is eerily similar to last year's 1st round ouster vs PPNW/Purple/KKs. I hope Facetious/Eggman didn't make the same mistake twice. Lol. The ironic thing is I went against purple as almost won when I was brand new here and ten purple went to the final. I was shocked as confused how some nobody like me got as many votes as purple.

Not at all, this poll is personally judging you. You make a piece of art and it loses in a competition you'd think you can always move on and do another painting, a better painting, but your person is something you've been a part of your whole life, and there's no easy way of turning away from it. It is pointless, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't feel affected by it.

If I were you I would forget the numbers, it's impossible to compare two entirely different people, and the nature of tournaments (since any one person could be put against the final winner) there's only one winner, and aren't really any clear losers - the numbers are the pointless part. Instead, flick through the thread and check out all the awesome things people have said about you, because, heck, there's enough of it.

Both are great users, but I ended up going with Shane. He's always been fairly quiet in my time here, but he's always provided such a calming, level-headed presence to the forums while still having interesting things to say and good recs to give. Plus, I always appreciate him as a mod because he's always seemed really fair and cool about things. Mercury is great too, although sometimes his exuberance is overwhelming for me. That's just him being him though, and he's always fun.

As shit, didn't see the Merc picture hadn't worked, yes it was the Brittany ( 😜 ) picture with a quite strong emphasis on her chest. Ah well. From a phone atm, so I'm not able to change it right now.

Whatevs, I always enjoy Shane's comments, but they are actually quite #rare these days. He seems really cool but again, I don't really know him much.

Mercury, however, is a totally awesome fellow with an endless enthusiasm for music. Typically the kind of guy I'd spend an afternoon chilling with, always a delightful presence. Keep on, yay! I give my "lil" vote to him!

Fond of both. Shane has been a consistent source of joy, the most effective forum mod we've ever had and a true lover of pop. Mercury is a horny, ball of energy.

I voted for ShaneSpeare because he's currently the underdog, but both are more than deserving of the win.

In an otherwise quite cynical forum, Mercury provides some much needed genuine excitement about music. Seems like the perfect person to invite to a party, just on a constant high and competely tolerant of others.

Whenever I see a ShaneSpeare post, I always stop and read every word because he's one of the most reasonable and understanding users here, and usually manages to persuade me to side with his line of argument.

Both are users that BEA simply wouldn't be the same without, and remind me everyday that this is one of the best places to be on the internet. Glasses raised.
