Probably this a bit, but then again it's the thing of internet persona vs real life person that can distort things. In real life I'm almost always relaxed, and very rarely have I ever gotten into heated arguments, but I think I react more strongly on BEA than in real life and there are some pet peeves I have that maybe get brought out on BEA more. Maybe it's just music discussion that brings out the anger in me. 🤣

Ew, anime fans.

But they're both pretty cool and have awesome taste in music. Both seem to have a pretty serious temperament a lot of the time. Maybe that's just me reading into things? You guys probably have a good sense of humour and fun but I just haven't been around to see it.

Gowie's great, one of the first users I talked to outside of BEA. Very well-read, good guy, gotten some great recs from him too. Plus we joined like within a week or two of each other.

That being said, Silver is great too and I always enjoy seeing him post. Tough call but I gotta go Gowie.

Two users that I never had so much contact, or a normal conversation, but I enjoy both a lot.... Let's see... I am always sleeping when silverwalrus is on... So this avoids me to talking to him... What's not a bad thing sometimes.... Well I like his chart a lot (Specially his charts notes which a had a great time reading... no bad words)... And there is gowi who I once talked to on skype... We shared a lot of recs (most of them coming from him) was also a great time... Yeah it is hard for me to vote... Will think a little bit (btw don't worry who goes to the next round you both are great dudes)

Incredibly hard matchup, but I gotta go Gowi. He and Rocky are probably the two guys on the site I've talked about music the most with, love em both, and Silver's a great guy, good taste in music, hope to get to meet him someday at a concert before we head off to college, but I'm going Gowi on this.

Heh, now I feel bad for just abstaining. But yeah, I'm happy to see all the kind things about me, but Gowi is a fantastic user. One of the most knowledgeable I've met on here with a very clear and tangible passion for music. I've gotten tons of recs from him and had some great conversations with him, and I'm really glad he's become a more permanent fixture of the forums.

I perceive both similarly: sort of snobbish, know it all types that yet can be really great and down to earth and do give great recommendations. But I think I am leaving toward Walrus because I consider him one of my peers more, and I have dealt with him a bit more, and idk.

They're both great in their own ways, but Gowie is a little less familiar to me. Buuuut i will say He doesn't come across as as much of a stuck up pseudo- expert anymore - which is good.

From what I've seen from both of them, in my opinion, they are integral to BEA. While for who I'm going to vote for may be obvious, I've got to say, Gowi, you're an awesome person. Whilst I haven't engaged conversation with you for very long, your presence here has always been wonderful and you're opinions are informative and well thought out. Also, props for starting the anime thread, it makes me feel at home here. But, SilverWalrus' influence on me is so overwhelming that I can't not vote for him, even if he is my nom (can you vote for own nomination, not so sure about it, well it's probably more eventful than sitting around watching them lose). So yeah.

Okay, with this one I am very familiar with both users, which just makes it more difficult. Both have provided me with great recs, and I've enjoyed the direct contact I've had with both (though, I've had loads more with Gowie). I'll come back to this later, it's a very tough one (the toughest yet).

EDIT: I voted Gowie, I know him better and that was the only factor it boiled down to.
