I was thinking this earlier, shoulda just released that as a single and made a different album.

Also, Electric Ladyland would be perfect if you just got rid of Little Miss Strange.
The Wall

1. Comfortably Numb
2. Bring The Boys Back Home
3. Another Brick in the Wall (Parts 1,2 and 3)
4. Young Lust
5. Waiting For The Worms
6. The Thin Ice
7. Run Like Hell
8. Mother
9. Hey You
10. Is There Anybody Out There?
11. Nobody Home

I'm sorry, but I simply can't abide by this. The Wall's greatest strength is how well the story builds on itself, giving you a cohesive view of Pink's life and the circumstances that turn him into what he becomes.

It's structured so well that if you remove even one song you miss something important. Doing this to it you're left with nothing but a random collection of mediocre Pink Floyd songs.

Take Me Down

I made a thread for The White Album simply because I think a LOT of people would be interested in doing it, and it tends to be the album most people think of first when they consider "double albums that should've been single). Here's mine:

Side A

1: Back in the U.S.S.R.
2: Dear Prudence
3: While My Guitar Gently Weeps
4: Happiness is a Warm Gun
5: I'm So Tired
6: Blackbird
7: Why Don't We Do It In the Road?
8: Julia

Side B (Side C of the original White Album)

1: Birthday
2: Yer Blues
3: Mother Nature's Son
4: Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey
5: Sexy Sadie
6: Helter Skelter
7: Long, Long, Long

I'm convinced that Mellon Collie is impossible to do. I do think the album is too long and I do think there is lots of fat to be trimmed, but not enough to make it a single album; just a shorter double album.

Lick My Boots - 4:27
Osiris - 3:52
Funky Son - 3:03*
NY Avenue Bridge - 3:42

*=silence included at the end of the track

Side 1 is too long but what can I do. This was already a 9.5/10 for me: edited down to this version, it might be a 10/10.

Life After Death would be so much better like this:

Somebody's Gotta Die
What's Beef?
Niggas Bleed
Last Day
B.I.G. Interlude
Hypnotize
Kick In The Door
Mo Money Mo Problems
Going Back To Cali
Sky's The Limit
You're Nobody (Til Somebody Kills You)

Starting and ending with Somebody's Gotta Die and You're Nobody (Til Somebody Kills You) is genius already so leave that. First half relatively dark, picks up after BIG Interlude with some bangers, then the contrast of Sky's The Limit to You're Nobody (Til Somebody Kills You) at the end. Album would be perfect if released like this, can do without most of the second half as it is tbh.
