I wasn't shocked at all. You're a fantastic presence on the forums and are wise beyond your years. If everyone here was as considerate, giving and passionate as you are, we'd all be in some kind of BEA utopia.

Puncture Repair is one of my favorite users, never afraid to elaborate on his opinions and blunt without being antagonistic. He doesn't post as frequently as some of the other forum pillars, but when he does, it carries a lot of weight.

Joyofdivision seems like a nice person and has some great charts, but I honestly don't know him at all. Even though we call this the "Best Ever User" tournament, it has a strong weight towards recent activity. This may not be fair, but I think it's unavoidable -- most of the voters have only been around for a small part of the site's history.

Vote to puncture, with a tip of the cap to joyofdivision for all the reasons Skinny mentioned.

Impossibly difficult. Went with joyofdivision for longevity, and because he's always been a level-headed user, a champion of genres that weren't always a fixture on BEA, and an all-round lovely guy. And because underdog, which seems a little strange (I think two years ago joy would probably have been as good a bet as anybody to win a user tournament, but he tends to post less these days unfortunately). Puncture knows I love him, and he'd get my vote against the vast, vast majority of users, but joy should be going further than Round 2.

But I gotta go with Puncture maybe the kindest person that I've ever met on the Internet, almost always uplifting, which I like so much, so I go with him

I know Puncture a bit more than I do for joyofdivision. Plus I can't ignore the amount of genuineness nature and knowledge of Puncture. That's how I thought of him when I started and that's going to stick with me.
