Also if anyone here's planning on going to Rock en Seine then let us know so we can all cuddle in a tent.

Also, there are some festivals in Croatia which are pretty interesting:

BTW, if anyone's interested or is planning on going to any of the Croatian festivals in late August and September (Dimensions, Outlook, Unknown), let me know. I'm still deciding over that, if I pass my remaining exams in the summer, I might just go to one of them. Need ppl to join me though...

Saturday at Pitchfork in Chicago. Friday's lineup is not very good (Beck is headlining) and I would've liked to go Sunday as well, but I can't really afford it. Unfortunately there isn't really a band I'm dying to see except maybe St. Vincent.

The festival itself has just such a great atmosphere and everyone's so friendly I can't not go, even if just for one day. Also Twin Peaks will be fun.

I've been planning on doing some travelling in August, and considering "Plan A" seems to be dead now, I'll definitely be looking into going to festivals like this. I know that Defago's in Europe (France?) from August onwards, so it'd be cool if this happens.

Plan B reporting in, I'm totally down for this.

Any idea who the top artist is?

Edit: The more I look at it the more I think it's Coldplay...

Double Edit: It was Portishead, aw yeah.

Not in summer, but the Big Ears Festival looks really cool this year:

This is the one that I wish I had found out about earlier, only heard about it in the Mountain Oasis cancellation email 🙁 . Big Ears might as well call itself "all the music boogn1sh has been listening to in the last 6 months fest". Will be hitting up all the ones in Chicago as usual, Lolla Pitchfork, NorthCoast, Riotfest, still looking for a fest worth travelling to this year though. So many of the lineups are identical

Well like I said, i'm not going to spend $250 either way with this lineup, but pair a couple great supporting acts with Outkast or The Cure and I'll get a single day ticket. Smash Mouth literally have nothing to do with it, just a name on the poster.

Yeah, if Weezer ends up the same day as Outkast or The Cure I think I'll go, otherwise prolly not. Maybe if Matt and Kim and Sublime are on the same day, tho that'd surprise me.
