Sometimes I'm the kind of sad where something bad has happened to me and I just need to embrace and accept it. In that case, I'll usually listen to an album that is as slit-your-wrists depressing as my life is at that moment because it gives me something to relate to. The ones that come immediately to mind are <span style="font-style: italic">Perfect from Now On</span> (especially), <span style="font-style: italic">Unknown Pleasures</span>, and <span style="font-style: italic">The Holy Bible</span>.<br /> <br /> Then again, sometimes I'm the kind of sad where nothing matters, and when I'm in that mood I can hardly be bothered to listen to a whole album. In those cases, I usually just pick one of the happiest songs I know (preferably one with a lot of nostalgia) and listen to it on repeat. Disney songs are common here.
