You know, I think the mellowness of Lover's Rock actually benefits the album because of where it's placed, and works quite well in the same way that "I Walk Beside You" works when you're listening to Octavarium: I could never put the song on by itself but I'd never skip past it on the album, either.

Don't Shoot Me is my favorite Elton album and I always skip "Daniel"- Just an awful and dated tune.

see, Ride are my favourite band - or the stuff they made at time of their first two albums ensures that I always classify them as my favourites. I think that Making Judy Smile is especially dire and then later on 1994's I Don't Know Where It Comes from is probably my least favourite.

Sort of agree; although I love the intro.....

I Call My Name is one of the weaker ones that sound sort of half-arsed in comparison to the driving pop/rock they produced during the period. (1964)

I honestly think that song's not bad.Even thought it's the b side of Let It Be it's actually from the Sgt Peppers era.Musically it's good but by the second half of the song I can see what u mean with the silly voices they make in an attempt at comedy rock ruins it for me.

As for my own favourites:

Magic Band - Haven't heard the two 1974 albums in full and I don't remember the songs' names so maybe "Circumstances" or "My Head Is My Only House" from Clear Spot? Incidentally, I'm going through their discography these days so I might soon be able to give a better answer.

The Velvet Underground - "Louise" from Squeeze. If you're not counting Squeeze, then "Lonesome Cowboy Bill" from Loaded.

From Muse, I agree with Dinger, there are quite enough.
I can't stand the song they made for Twilight (I can't even remember the title), fortunately it wasn't on an album.
Also "Undisclosed Desires" from The Resistance is shitty enough.
But mostly from their last album, there are many: "Supremacy", "Madness", "Liquid State", "Unsustainable" (this one I enjoyed the first time, but soon has become untolerable), all songs I can't stand. I spent more than 20 € for that album, fuck. 🧱

From other favourite bands:
- King Crimson - Matte Kudasai (wtf)
- Air - some songs from Pocket Symphony
- Radiohead - some songs of Amnesiac and Hail to the Thief are very poor, imo

There are some more, but these are the firsts to come to my mind.

Ps: @NowhereMan: Are You Ready For the Country? is one of my fav from Harvest.

I don't hate "One More Day" from country band Diamond Rio and "Probably Wouldn't Be This Way" from LeAnn Rimes, but they are songs that I can not listen to because of what they are about.
