Sorry for the late reply, but I couldn't agree more. For me, it represents the year of 2013 better than any other release that year. All that happened to me, everything that was popular, all the new songs, the videos that went viral, etc. It just sent all of these memories rushing back to me so fast that I could hardly handle it. The first time I heard it was about a month ago and I was just completely blown away. Since then, I've listened to it many times and I've been starting to discover that it may very well be the defining album of the '10s for me. (or at least thus far)

os mutantes and sf sorrow are terrific but hardly 'lost'

I know this point has been made at previous times on this forum, but I'm not sure how albums that are in the top 1000 of both BEA and RYM are remotely underrated or lost, considering there probably are hundred of millions of records in the world 🤔

though I got it from Norman. I like how he said it's proto-Newsom. The cover says it all, really : she's a mermaid with a heavenly voice singing songs with her harp, it's incredible.

More later. I feel in the "lost treasure" department, singer/songwriter is the category in which you have the greatest opportunity to discover something truly great but relatively unknown, considering the huge number of records of this style and the relatively low price of recording an LP in the late sixties with just you and your guitar. Reggae is possibly very high on lost gems as well, incredible rate of production.
