The song title means "Good Morning".

But then if you're sprightly enough this could work pretty well too:

Morning is the time for pop, melodic and upbeat. O&O was a great choice, but I could just as easily go with most other '60s pop acts, like the Beatles, Beach Boys, Temptations, etc. Right now we're waking up to "Blue Moon".

Tbh I like listening to some bouncy hip-hop first thing in the morning, basically anything produced by Mannie Fresh or DJ Quik or something of that ilk. Recently it's been the new Young Thug & Rich Homie Quan mixtape, as well as YG's My Krazy Life. Killa Kyleon's last tape works perfectly too. Just something that bumps works great for me.

I think less janglier indie pop (i.e. B&S) works great in morning

The first song starts with the lyrics "Good morning to you..."

One of my favourite albums to wake up to, I listen to it recently a lot. It sounds fresh and it starts the day perfectly.

Moody Blues' Days of Future Passed begins with 3 songs which are about morning ('The Day Begins', 'Dawn' and 'The Morning') so - except the last song 'The Lunch' - almost the entire first side of this great album is about mornings.

It's also refreshing music to listen to it in the morning. 😄

Hey y'all,

Just woke up after a long night, and after cleaning the house I'm in need of some chill music to take the edge off of the morning. What's your favorite album or artist to wake to?
