You could set a filter to have a minimum amount of tracks (3,4 or 5). That chart is very interesting for me as album like ys by Joanna newsom gets much more recognition and therefore I will probably be more likely to listen to it as a result as its average track rating is so much higher than the album rating. I just think it might give albums more recognition and people would rate songs more.

Just thought I'd mention this : a friend of mine was visiting with me yesterday and we got to talking about this album (one that both of us used to really respect when we were teenagers). He still kinda did hold it in high regard but I put the album on and asked him to come up with ratings for some of the tracks from it and the results were interesting. He arrived at 53/100 for 'Planet Telex' (I was kinda surprised by this as that's actually one of the better tracks on the album for me) and figures in the 60s and 70s for most of the rest...

I've also recently come to find it easier to arrive at a 'more accurate' track rating if I come up with a figure in my mind first rather than hovering my cursor over the stars on the BEA album page; these are what I myself have for 'The Bends'...

'The Bends' - 75
'High And Dry' - 55
'Fake Plastic Trees' - 65
'Bones' - 60
'(Nice Dream)' - 65
'Just' - 70
'My Iron Lung' - 75

Album rating - 75/100; album is enjoyable and cohesive but has some tracks that are quite limited and none that reach higher than 80/100

When I first joined the site I instinctively gave the album 90/100 and probably would have been a whole lot more generous to the tracks too...

it doesn't exist at the moment. In theory, it sounds useful, but then you think that some albums only have one or two tracks. The top 20 look something like this:

Am I able to set a filter to enable me to see an overall chart for the average track rating of an album?
