Otherwise I'm not excited about the potential of anything whatsoever. A hitherto unknown discovery will blow everything else away in 2015. Mystic Meg said so in today's Sun.

looking forward to my dozens of Soundcloud releases from the artists I like instead of being stuck on that record label LP sales cycle tip and the continuing erosion of the latter model so that by 2016 I don't have to wait two years every time I wanna hear Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar change the aural landscape of hip hop music

I approve of this, yeah. I'd love to see a full tour of BN/Man Orchestra/Kevin Devine someday, too, that'd be awesome. Whatever happens, it should be good. I really hope it's good ... I really really do ... someone claimed to have heard some of the album and said the new stuff that's on there was all they heard, they didn't know if demos were or not, and what they heard sounded like a middle ground between Deja and Devil and God, so that's a good sign.

Other rumors include re-recording the lost demos from FOYD, a collaboration with Manchester Orchestra, that there is no album and it's just a tour, a live album, a tour with Thrice and (maybe) No Devotion, or that it's just a new, really good album.

If it's the FOYD demos, though, expect 1,4,5,9 and hope that they release that as an EP and a full album later as opposed to just that alone, which is what I'm a little scared of.

Considering Kanye, Vampire Weekend, The National, and Arcade Fire had the best albums of 2010 and 2013, I'm more pumped for 2016.

You have to watch his last 2 releases. There Will Be Blood is a classic. Absolutely fantastic performances from everybody. After those, watch Magnolia. Even Punch Drunk Love, which was a bit of a step to the left, is still a great movie from him.
