Gah! that went so quick. As much as I'd love to put in 2 of my favourite performances: Russell Crowe in The Insider and John Goodman in Barton Fink...this is turning into a sausage fest very rapidly so I'll nominate Holly Hunter for The Piano

Those are my four. I was really tearing myself up for Julie Delpy in either Before Sunrise or Sunset, Ethan Hawke in any of the those 2 or Before Midnight, Robert DeNiro in Taxi Driver, Billy Crystal in When Harry Met Sally, Patrocia Arquette in Boyhood, and a few others. But yeah, that lead performance in Blue Is the Warmest Color fucking owns.
