Oh shit you're right, I hadn't even noticed. Yeah, Walker is the best. I also agree that 2 is the best, but Hayden's order makes way more sense.

Scott 4 comes after, then Climate of Hunter, then Tilt. You can't skip those.

Even though his recent output has been spawned out to be about an album a decade, he's been around longer than the Rolling Stones.

He's probably the only relevant artist nowadays that was active in the 50's too.

I've heard 1/2 of 1 song off Soused and had no idea the guy's been around so long. Where should I start in his discog, Mecca?

Oh, and since I never answered the question, Nirvana. Just entirely, I didn't really have a childhood love for Pearl Jam or anything like that, just always thought they were eh but not great. Liked Vedder's solo stuff a lot, especially the Into The Wild soundtrack (despite the fact I'm not a fan of the movie), just never all too into Pearl Jam, and don't LOVE Vedder's stuff either. Nirvana just clicks more for me.

Just for conversations sake, technically James Blake has a baritone voice. I just don't think he's typically associated with it.

1960's Johnny Cash and Iggy Pop (though Morrison's great, too)
1970's David Bowie, Leonard Cohen, Lou Reed and Ian Curtis, please don't make me choose
1980's Nick Cave and Dave Gahan
1990's Mark Sandman (Brad Roberts and Stephin Merrit if they count but they're more bass in my head)
2000's Mikel Jollett and Matt Berninger (And Kozelek but he might be 90s and that's more for talen than liking him)
2010's Kind of early to say ... Harry McVeigh or Simon Board I guess?

That doesn't even mention some of my absolute favorites, Paul Banks, Tom Smith, Robert Smith, Peter Murphy, Justin Warfield, Eddie Argos, Julian Casablancas, Alex Kapranos, Jarvis Cocker, etc. If you think Kroeger was really the best baritone the 2000s had to offer, I'd recommend listening to Sun Kil Moon, TATE, The National, Interpol, and Editors, minimally, and call me in the morning.

Still really dig both, don't get much play time anymore but they both shaped my music listening and are both on my overall chart. Definitely prefer Ten though, twas once my number one album on here.

No factors and criteria. It's just that Nevermind sounds more like a grunge album than Pearl Jam's grunge days in general, since Ten also leans towards alternative rock.
