Yeah I say maybeee hold off on starting up a new tournament, because trust me the year tournament will take a considerable amount of time and pretty much dominate the games forum, and we already have several other tournaments already queue'd up, so maybe just wait a bit before we start nominating and getting ready for yet another one?

Yeah. my thoughts as well. Plus, unless you're obsessed with a given genre, genre tourneys are a bit boring c/w more diverse tourneys such as the year tourneys. I personally don't like binging on one particular genre. I think most people get burned out and that's why the discussion has kind of suffered in the hip hop tourney for example.

Not a big fan of this. I mean, I like lots of stuff that's often called indie pop, but ask 10 people what it is and you'll get 10 different answers. Jim clearly had a very specific notion of the genre that was beyond my understanding, so maybe a genre thread would be better first?

Most of all, though, BEA has so many indie pop fans that it feels like it's constantly being featured in the Music forum in one way or another. Does it really need more exposure in the form of a tournament?
