Privacy by Raspberry Bulbs

So I wanted to post this like over a week ago but I haven't had internet (I'm at someone else's house and using their's right now) and I know it's like the end of the year and everyone's kinda set in their ways for 2014 BUT this is a pretty cool blackened-punk album that's worth listening to. So do that.

My number 4 for 2014. Post-rock, some metal, Icelandic, morbid. I highly recommend it. I enjoyed this as much as I enjoy Sigur Ros. RYM gives it a deserving position on their chart, #25 for 2014. I rate this 95.

Definitely one of the best things I've heard this year. The cover fits it perfectly. Think I have it in the top 5.

Bashful Creatures by Hippo Campus

Alan Sparhawk of Low produced an album of a local Vampire Weekend style band. It's just an EP but it's pretty great.

Gonna check out the new Ghostface, too, I missed that that came out.

Kold is probably quite a bit more black metal than it is post-rock. Still has Sigur Ros vibes though

Euphoia Again: The Mouse Rides On

This album has grown on me quite a bit over the past couple months. Equal parts Modest Mouse, My Bloody Valentine and Mercury Rev.

Reminds me of 764 Hero and the days when indie rock wasn't so squeaky clean.
