Yeah I really wouldn't trust Wikipedia for verifying original release dates, RYM and Discogs esp are best for getting the full release schedule since singles are often given multiple releases. Although if it was promo-only release in a previous year but officialy released in yours I don't think that should be an eligibility problem.

Im more shocked than anybody, given this was supposed to be my super-happy-crazy-awesome-fun team (yes there would've been The Darkness and more Linkin Park puns) when I thought I would surely be a goner by now, but after surprising success just decided to go in for the kill. And I originally planned to use Elephant way back in my match for 1970 but constant shuffling ended up putting it back here and I thought "Seven Nation Army" paired really well with "Maps" so that's just how it layed (and I really wanted to include Supersilent).

Anyways everybody def check out the hidden gems from both teams, and Dave's singles are heavenly (as...

once again Saoirse seems to have put together a team tailor made for my tastes, including and album that has at times topped my overall chart.

Dave's team is once again really strong. I like but don't really love any of his album choices, but they're all still quite excellent.

Anyways, what a team! Definitely was expecting at least four of those albums, that last one was a nice surprise, and Ill go ahead and percieve, um, um Four Tet as a personal attack 😕 and I love those singles! Absolute dagger of a match to close out the last round, may the one with the best aim win!

When I saw Dave's team I thought it was a sure winner, but then I saw Saoirse's, which is my favorite so far im the whole tournament. And that's a lot, I've seen (mostly) amazing teams! Hope this trend continues on the next groups.

I'll be honest, this is my personal favourite team I've posted so far but I had no idea how it would go down. Saoirse's team is lovely though. The Lemon Of Pink is quite clearly a calculated personal attack, and Hail To The Thief is Radiohead's most interesting album, could be my favourite if I'm in the right mood. Super bummed not to see Apple O' though.

03's one of my favorite years in music (probably with good reason, my number 1 album ever is from then). Somehow, you've yet to whip out any of my top 5 of the year, I think, and still seem to get my vote every round. A really good year and I'm glad to keep finding cool new stuff from it. Dave's team is a lot of new to me but just not as much my taste.
