Today I was waiting by the elevator and looking out of the window. I then saw my manager walking a gravel path. I watched and ducked my head when I his head turned in my direction. When I peaked again he was still walking. I don't think he saw me watching.

Yesterday I listened to my two coworkers argue about whether one of the local pizza places has wood fired or brick oven pizza. I didn't dare to ruin their debate by telling them that you burn wood for heat in a brick pizza oven, but my supervisor did.

Yesterday I went to the fishmongers down at Kingston market. My friend was having a barbecue for his 28th birthday, so I thought I'd grab some nice fish for the occasion. There were some lovely looking scallops there, so I asked the guy how much they cost. He said, "they're £40 a kilo, mate", and so I just picked up some smoked haddock instead.

you know that feeling when you're fifteen minutes into a movie you're seeing for the first time, and you're already certain this is the greatest film you've ever seen? so it's like that, but now imagine thirty minutes in, something comes up, and you have to leave. you don't finish watching the movie. so for months and months, you're thinking about this movie because it made a huge impression on you. now imagine a friend calls you up and says, "hey, you want to come to my place and watch this film together? i think you'd like it. i've got it on blu-ray, and we can use the projector" and it's the film. so that's kind of what happened.

Took the RTA to downtown Cleveland to go to the West Side Market for some fresh deli meats, breads, and cheese (yum!). Ended up walking through a sketchy neighborhood and finding a record store (thus, my post in Albums You've Added To Your Collection Today thread). Got good food and good music, all the while walking through my home city. Happy.
