Love: Buddy Holly, Bo Diddley, All I Have to Do Is Dream, Heartbeat (seriously? Two Buddy Holly? That's lazy)

Like: Little Girl Blue, Little Richard

Haven't heard: Ricky Nelson

OK: Tequila

Don't like: The Chipmunks Song, Witch Doctor (seriously? Two Chipmunks gimmicks? That's lazy)

Lazy team. The joke on the s/t albums was funny for a minute I'll admit.

1968

Love: At Folsom Prison, Scott 2, Devil Got My Woman (edit: mistake I thought it was a compy of his 1931 stuff, I actually haven't heard this), Everybody's Talkin' (wait. Isn't it used in the '69 team as well?), This Is My Country (masterpiece! Everybody listen to the album!), Baby, I Thank You

Like: In C, Hickory Wind

Haven't heard: Nefertiti, Devil Got My Woman

1968 easy, even without Miles and with Skip James' cameo. and Nilsson's gift of ubiquity.

EDIT: still going for 68, but I'll listen to Nefertiti and Skip James to be sure.

1968 is much more to my liking, but using 'This is My Country' the single over This is My Country the album is near unforgivable. One of Curtis' very best. Will still likely vote '68 regardless.

Nerfertiti is probably the biggest Miles Davis album that I've never given a listen to... I guess I better do that before I vote.

Swinging towards '68 at this point anyway.

Was first released in 68, withdrawn, then rereleased in 69 after the movie. I think you could make an argument for either year.

Interesting album choices Sp4ce. Not enough people know that Skip James record. I got it on vinyl years ago. To be honest. His earlier recordings are a bit more incredible. But this is great. And Scott Walker 2 has long been my favorite Walker record.

Yet I'm having a hard time voting against Nina, Buddy, Little Richard, Ricky Nelson and Bo Diddly.

Leaning 68 but gotta give this some thought.

Quite like some of those albums on 1958, but "Witch Doctor" has been the bane of my existence ever since my wife first played it for my son.

I'm personally voting for kiki since he evidently put more effort in the music selection as opposed to sp4cetiger who is all about fancy images and comments nobody asked for.
