I have a bunch of CDs I'm not willing to count, but I have my vinyl stack on my desk right next to this very laptop.

I have 48 at the moment, a good half of which are from the past five years I'm guessing.

About 150 vinyl, about 100 cassettes and about 150 CDs I'm guessing. And then there are the downloads.

1692 on CD as of right now. I've had at least that many and more either stolen, sold, or lost over the years.

Up to 600 albums at the moment, all digital, although I plan on starting a vinyl collection once I go back to living in a country that actually has vinyl -.-

LOL some of you guys are monsters.
I have increased my CD stock to around 30 (all which I downloaded first and loved before buying), plus my parents must have around 100.
On my iPOD I have a few hundred CD's.

Not many CDs anymore; probably 20-40. Once I got an iPod/iTunes I burned my collection of 500-600 discs onto my laptop and sold them all to one lucky family for $100. Now for the most part I buy from iTunes although occasionally I'll pick up a cheap CD. I'm probably up to 1000 albums or so, plus an additional 80-100 random songs (usually oldies or stuff by people not known for particularly great albums - Percy Sledge, Ben E King, The Association, The Animals, Don McLean, Mark Morrison, etc.) on my computer. iTunes calculates that I have over 31 days of music.

I've also got about 200 vinyl records; over half of which is part of my digital collection.

For my age and income, I think I've done quite well. The only people I've ever met in person who have my music collection beat are considerably older and have way more spending money. I know there's a lot more out there but in my small town I'm considered the go-to expert on both music and movies. That's why I love the internet and this site in particular. I've probably purchased 300 albums after reading about them on BEA. Nobody in Redneckville USA ever told me about Nick Cave, Sigur Ros, GY!BE, Nick Drake, Sufjan Stevens, Television, The Smiths, Neutral Milk Hotel, etc..

Still have a few thousand although the number is starting to drop now I am selling in order to get rich. The new Idlewild was the last album I brought.

Dunno CD's, I'm away from my collection so I can't count. Vinyl I actually keep track of. I'm at 71 at the moment.

I'm not at home, so I don't know for sure, but probably somewhere in this range

Cd- 450
Vinyl- 30 (everything I own on vinyl I also own on CD)
Digital- less than 10

I'm up to roughly 16,000 songs, which would be 1,400 albums or so, plus singles, if I still had vinyl. I've had more music, but at each transition, from albums to cds and from cds to digital, there were a few that didn't make the cut. I clung to vinyl albums for a long time, but I don't know if there's a difference between the sound on albums, cds, and digital. Some people think there is, but that's a separate topic. I like the portability and permanence of digital. I do miss the liner notes and the printed lyrics.

At work now but I may go through them later as I have free time at last, think I've around 100+ CD's or thereabouts, plus 7 vinyl, my digital collection is somewhere in the thousands, wouldn't really count that though.

Vinyl: more or less 100 (never listen to them though, I'm not rich enough to get a proper gear)
Cassette: approx. 200 (can't listen to them anymore)
CDs: over 1,600
digital: 5,547, that's including copies of the vinyls and cassette tapes I own but can't listen to atm, and some copies of CDs I own.
