                          I remember dancing to this song when it came out. Some punk poured a glass of beer over my head. He was so disgusted with the song. They made &quot;London’s burning&quot; he said. And now they have sold out, making a pop record.&lt;br /&gt;
I still like it. But it is true, overusage can kill every song.</description>

                          I think it's just a super cool and distinctive pop rock record. I mean it's so cool the way it just marches out and starts off with such a simple direct and almost militaristic lock step strut. Also &quot;London&quot; and &quot;London CALLING&quot; so people hear that and are like &quot;oh! Like they're in England now! Sweeeeeet!</description>

                          because it's patrician tested pleb approved lol&lt;br /&gt;

in all seriousness i don't actually know why it's overused. it was also used during the 2012 olympics for some reason.</description>

                          Has anyone else noticed how often the song London Calling is uses in tv shows and movies where Americans travel to England?&lt;br /&gt;
It's a dark song yet has been used in light hearted things like Friends, what a girl wants with Amanda bynes (don't judge me...)&lt;br /&gt;
And a few others. Why that song? Is it the most affordable to use? I don't get it but it's interesting nevertheless</description>
