Most music of this type can be great if you try to focus and hone in on its qualities, no matter how "unmusical" it may be. <br /> <br /> Jandek in particular was pretty baffling to me at first. I never disliked him but I definitely didn't understand his appeal - now I can hear his powerful pathos in every dissonant strum.
