So this lasted for a good half a year, would anyone be interested in doing a 2017 ALC? Not sure how many people are actively on the forums any more and would be interested in something like this, but if there's interest, I'm willing to do it again.

I think as long as the album wasn't extensively discussed on the site already, you're good to go. Some of those you mentioned already have their own threads (eg. AMSP), so maybe one of those other ones? As I found out a couple of years ago trying to run this thing, more obscure meant less discussion (even if it led to some great discoveries) and by the end of the year nobody was really participating anymore...

Sorry, I'm just not as cool as everyone else.

I'd love to discuss one of these albums more detail these 2016 albums with 3 or 4 people. If they aren't interested than I guess neither am I. (in no particular order... these are probably the only 2016 albums I've listened to... hahaha):

Lemonade by Beyonce
California by Blink-182
Blackstar by David Bowie
The Life Of Pablo by Kanye West
99% by Kaytranada
Stranger To Stranger by Paul Simon
A Moon Shaped Pool by Radiohead
The Getaway by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Santana IV by Santana (huge let down)
To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere by Thrice
Weezer (The White Album) by Weezer (also kind of a let down for me, but seems like the site liked it)
Light Upon The Lake by Whitney

But it technically is against the "rules" and technically this thread is taking a break.

We also still need more people to sign up if everyone's still interested. Can be anybody at this point, though obviously people who haven't gone before will get priority.

I also highly recommend checking out some of the more recent threads, activity seems to have gone down fairly significantly (which is totally fine, everyone's busy, myself included), so check out the albums!

I'm thrilled that this has stayed relatively active for six months now, that's the best we've had in I don't know how long.

I'll wait and let you guys have a second turn. I'm more in tune right now getting ready for the Best Ever Label Tournament - in others words, listening to the label I chose whole discography (according to their website). Once I am done with that, I'll get on to my album for this.
