UK : Chuck Berry, "My Ding-a-ling"
US : The Temptations, "Papa Was A Rolling Stone"
France : no data, the official top 50 was only created in 1984 (which is just as well, God knows what would have been n°1).

Fine as it is.

I'm just going to go by Australian charts

Singles: (I'll point out I put these in a playlist and listened to them before I gave my opinion)
1988: Bobby McFerrin - Don't Worry, Be Happy (the gods were looking upon me that day)
1989: Cher - If I Could Turn Back Time (yes well...)
1990: The Righteous Brothers - Unchained Melody (thanks Ghost)
1991: Michael Jackson - Black or White (can't complain 'bout that one (at least in reference to to the rest of the stuff here)

2001: Smooth Criminal - Alien Ant Farm (waste of space and time)
2002: Delta Goodrem - Born To Try (*facepalm*)
2003: Guy Sebastian - Angels Brought Me Here (I actually didn't mind this song when it came out. What the fuck was I smoking at 15?)
