I'd love to say yes to this request, but it would open up a huge can of worms. BEA currently just shows the original track-listing and artwork for each album to keep things consistent. If we started making exceptions, we'd have to start showing each release of each album separately, and that would become far too difficult to maintain, especially with the number of data contributors that we have here (far bigger sites struggle to do this properly because the volume is so huge).

"Rust Never Sleeps" album by Neil Young first track is "My My, Hey Hey (Out of the Blue)" rather than "My My, Hay Hay (Out of the Blue)"

On "One by One" by Foo Fighters, track 6 should be "Tired of You" rather than "tired of youn".

This issue started because somebody specifically added The Clash (US version) to their list (but the UK release was the original version).

This topic has been discussed on the forum and it seems most people think that the US release is better than the original. (Personally, I think we should use the original release.)

I agree, the album should not be listed twice, but not sure the best way of dealing with this at the momet.

Well I rated the US version of Is This It? Now it has been changed to the UK version.

There are 46 charts that have the UK version and only 11 with the US version of The Clash. Combining them would move the album from 164 to 145. The Stokes and The Clash (and all other albums) should be treated alike. In this case they both have different tracks and covers (although The Clash cover is almost identical).

How about all The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, and The Kinks country variants?
Should we have separate listings for albums from every country or with different track editions (deluxe, remixed, etc.)?

So please explain why The Clash has two listings (UK and US) for their self-titled album and The Strokes has only one listing for Is This It? Seems like it is cheating The Clash out of ranking points/rank score by dividing them between two albums with the same title.

The Strokes' Is This It has the American only tracklisting and not the world wide release that features 'New York City Cops' instead of 'When it Started'. Upon release all copies of the album included NYC Cops, and it was only shortly after 9/11 that the US version had this replaced with the inferior track
