Yeah, Gary. I like minor chords better too (one other thing we have in common). I used to annoy my band mate by writing a progression with only minor chords and singing about being sad and depressed (it was a joke). They always sound good mixed with major chords though.

A minor! You can use it in the key of C,G... It sounds great combined with both E minor as well as E major too. It sounds good in an ascending progression to B minor. It was in a lot of Beatles songs, Smith songs, R.E.M. songs, and I have used it in many of my songs. It's found in Irish folk songs all the time. It can be a great droning chord and it's easy to write a riff around it. You can write a song with just A minor and G major (Working Class Hero?).

Gravy is much better than BBQ sauce. They serve gravy at Thanksgiving dinner, while BBQ sauce is almost always absent.

Though, when it comes down to it, C is highly overrated, so I would still probably pick G over C, but not by much.
