That is indeed wrong, however the reason for this is that everyone (with a few rare exceptions, so rare that I don't think any are found around here) is to a certain extent a product of their generation whether they admit it or not and all the bands you list were forgotten by the time the average BEA chart publisher started to know the names of the bands they were listening to.

Oasis were better than Pearl Jam though, but other than that you have a list of wrongs right there. Off the top of my head I could name another 96 artists that should be ranked higher than Oasis.
