Ok here's my list. Sorry to you Renoir fans for the lack of his films here. Couldn't find any to stream with subtitles, and very few are available via Netflix DVD. Oh well. Four Josef von Sternberg/Marlene Dietrich films, and I reckon Blonde Venus and Dishonored would've made five or six. But like Grand Illusion and La Chienne, I couldn't find them. Hopefully next time.

This. I make a list every year that I try to release just before the Oscars. I feel it'd be unfair to many films to release a list at the end of the year when there are so many fantastic limited releases that I don't get a chance to see until January or February. Actually planning on driving an hour each way tomorrow in order to see Manchester By the Sea.

As for the 30s list, whenever is fine with me. I've been cracking down with 5-10 still planning on watching for this list including Modern Times and M. But I'll soon switch over to focusing on 2016 films (definitely not until I've seen both of those though) so a later deadline for me will only lead to me seeing a few more films.

But then again I'm not the one tallying up the list.

With Xmas coming up, there's less time for movie-watching than other times of year. So I'm fine with extra time for this poll. And I suppose with the '30s poll wrapping in January, afterwards we'll probably do a Best of 2016 to be in line with awards season. But whatever ya'll want to do...
