For me, it’s not a difficult choice to pick Transcendence by any margin of thought. If it was a stronger doom metal album or an actually good one (such as anything from Candlemass, Cathedral, or Sleep) I would probably go against Crimson Glory’s strongest album of their four album discography. But since Transcendence is up against Watching from a Distance... Looked like some typical early 80s not-really-metal hard rock album. However, I really liked it - reminded me a lot of Iron Maiden with the high pitched vocals and literary references.<br /> <br /> Problem is, Watching From a Distance turned out to be even better and got my vote.
