There is no particular album I like from Jeffery Lewis, but I do like these songs and a few more (by the way, musically I have to say I struggle with Jeffery... but his lyrics are basically my generations Dylan, IMO).

Probably Spiderland tbh, lyrics are stunningly vivid and ambiguous in an intriguing manner. Also a big fan of Crimson King and Aeroplane for some more popular albums.

Just to mention some not so obvious choices, I love Damien Rice's lyricism. Any album will do, but 9 is my favourite. So many heartwrenching songs.

Nick Cave's A Boatman's Call is also full of quality heartbreak lyrics and Into My Arms is probaly in my top 10 lyrics of all time.

David Bowie is one of my all time favourite artist, and while I've never considered him a top class lyricist, Hunky Dory does have some incredibly good lyrics.
