Hello! I'm new as well and my music tastes are very similar to yours - I love Bowie, and my favorite era of his is definitely Space Oddity through Scary Monsters (I guess that's quite a bit more than just a single era, but you get the idea). Many of the other artists you mentioned are some of my favorites, too, like the Beatles, who were my gateway drug to all the music I now love. It's nice to meet you! Hi everyone,

I just signed up after using Best Ever Albums for a few months now to listen to the top 20 albums year by year. Starting at 1955 (pretty much the birth year of rock and roll). I'm only up to 1957 at the moment, but am greatly enjoying exploring the musical landscape of the time, from rock n roll, to jazz and classical.

Other than that I'm a massive David Bowie fan, and have pretty much every edit, remix and live version of every track he put out. I also perform in a Bowie tribute band called The Thin White Duke. Bowie always dabbled in different genres and had many disparate influences, which ties into my willingness to listen to all sorts of different things - though my favourites would be 60's and 70's rock like the Beatles, Stones, Doors, Iggy Pop, The Kinks and so on.
