I like how 'Humble' sounds like an old No Limit beat. Not sure it suits Kendrick, though.

If it can even hold a candle to his last two albums & untitled unmastered it'll likely be one of the best of the year (if not the best). So I'm extremely intrigued, "HUMBLE." was a killer track.

I'm sure we all know by now that Kendrick is dropping an album next Friday..

Thoughts?

Wiley's album was amazing.

New Wiki & Your Old Droog EP is nice. In hip-hop-adjacent news, Wiley's new album is my favourite album of the year so far.

NEED Bandana to be released. Feel like they've been sitting on a finished project for a while now.

Also Homeboy Sandman's 'Veins'
and The Underachievers's 'Renaissance' are dropping this year too.

Some random thoughts:

We're surely due a new Roc Marciano album sometime this year.

The new song Maxo Kream just put up on Soundcloud is excellent, so hopefully he drops again. The Persona Tape was one of 2016's best.

Cam & China need to drop a full length; I've been rinsing their EP lately.

Can see Earl releasing something significant.

And Jonwayne.

Probably unlikely, but it'd be nice to get something from DJ Quik with less Problem this year.

A focused Boosie LP, as opposed to like 14 mixtapes of varying quality, would be nice as well.

Is Kodak Black signed to a major yet?

Chester Watson.

When was the last Nacho x BSBD release? '15? '14? A new one would be welcome.

Westside Gunn and Conway finna blow up.

Blue Chips 3?

Not really sure how or why the hypetrain gets set in motion, but Junglepussy is gonna miss her chance if she doesn't drop again soon. Potentially the best rapper in NYC.

Young MA needs to prove she can do more than spit amazing freestyles.

Everyone would like it if Future rediscovered his 2015 form. Purple Reign was two amazing songs and a fuck load of filler.

Ghostface: I love you but please retire.

A less self-serious KRIT project, please.

Pusha T album?

If Bandana actually drops, I'm organising a street party.

I doubt Thugga & Death Grips are gonna go quiet this year.
