Shortest would be pretty much any of the individual tracks from They Might Be Giants' "Fingertips," excluding "I Walk Along Darkened Corridors."

Longest is Kate Bush's "An Endless Sky of Honey," but seeing how that's just a compilation of multiple songs squeezed into a single track, Renaissance's "Song Of Scheherazade" is the longest real tune I have.

im guessing music to be born by - mickey hart one hour ten minutes ten seconds and shortest I'm not sure maybe her majesty but i probably have somethings shorter

"I've Been Changed" from my late beautiful precious Steve Sanders of the Oak Ridge Boys during his earlier days in the Gospel field only goes for one minute and twenty six seconds.

My longest track is one from Alan Jackson named "The Blues Man" and it goes for seven minutes and six seconds.

it's 4 hours of tabletop guitar electroacoustic noises and some samples of classical music. Rowe is very old and has been doing this sort of thing for a while so he is able to keep developing and pushing forward the sonic vocabulary of the piece to keep it fresh and justify all those minutes. actually tho it's going to be replaced in length very soon by Jürg Frey - l'àme est sans retenue I (360:00), which if it's anything like l'àme est sans retenue III, will be very quiet distinct chunks of sort of formless sound, with a dominant quality of wind noise but some other stuff mixed in too, with each chunk lasting around a couple minutes and separated by at least a minute of absolute silence. tho I'm not sure since it's 6 hours of it, could be a bit different.

As for the longest, a favourite would be The Damned, Curtain Call, on the Black Album it's almost 18 minutes I think.
