Great tracks listed there. Plenty I'd pick from those. Maybe I will. Can't be arsed with 40 but if I was in a club (doubt it) and was on it, then these would make me go off or get me hyped or whatever
Lfo-lfo
Black sheep-the choice is yours
Egyptian lover-Egypt Egypt
Hijack-style wars
Slayer-angel of death
Eric b & rakim-lyrics of fury
Stooges-I wanna be your dog
Hashim-al naayfish
Nitro deluxe-this brutal house
Dj mink-hey can you relate
Mary chain-upside down
Teenage Fanclub-everything flows
Switch-a bit patchy
Georgie fame-somebody stole my thunder
New order-perfect kiss
Dexys-geno

Just those. And maybe fools gold by stone roses.

Interesting. I didn't know about the movie.
so to clarify a bit: there is this film "in which the actors' timing and movements are synced with the soundtrack"(wikipedia)
And you created another soundtrack here.
And you ask for examples of uplifting song ? Or "happy sad" songs ? Songs that fit some specific situation in life ? (I ask that because I see "Let's Go away for A while" by the Beach Boys in the official soundtrack)
I have to see that film anyway

For song that pump me up, I first think of:
Sugar : The Act We act
The Beatles: Back in The USRR
New Radicals : You Only get what you Give

surely many others

Four months after Baby Driver was released I was obsessed with putting together a fake movie soundtrack based on Jon Hamm's monologue in which he muses about those songs that just hype you up. I made a playlist of about around 40 songs or so on my Spotify account here:

https://open.spotify.com/user/123789463/playlist/67rrKqEJydeJ18tduk50Cs

But what are your killer tracks? What songs pump you up?

Here is a track listing:

Wire - 1 2 X U
Can - Mushroom
Danny Brown - Dance (Instrumental)
The Shangri-La's - Leader Of The Pack
Edwyn Collins - A Girl Like You
The Meters - Hand Clapping Song
Pablo Picasso - The Modern Lovers
Bill Loose - Raquel's Theme
Mark Lindsay - Lone Wolf's Theme (from Shogun Assassin)
Brigitte Bardot & Serge Gainsbourg - Bonnie & Clyde
David Bowie - Cactus
Pixies - U-Mass
Fugazi - Arpeggiator Demo
The B-52's - Rock Lobster
Luv N' Haight - Sly & The Family Stone
Desmond Dekker - Israelites
Tom Waits - Jockey Full Of Burbon
The Stooges - Shake Appeal
The J.B.'s - The Grunt Pt. 1 & 2
The Pixies - Theme From Narc
Os Mutantes - A Minha Menina
The Incredible Bongo Band - Apache
Blackalicious - Alphabet Aerobics
DJ Kool - Let Me Clear My Throat
DJ Shadow - The Number Song
Big Star - Thirteen
The Zombies - She's Not There
