Pretty wild! No matter how hard the interviewer tries, he can't get Jones to say anything the slightest bit critical or reflective about his own music.

They say he's promoting a Netflix doc -- no mention that a doc about him, "Listen Up: The Lives of Quincy Jones," came out in 1990. From what I remember, it wasn't so hot -- lot of trendy music video-type effects to appeal to young people.

His impact on music can not be understated. I'm excited, even if some of it isn't quite factual, that he's going to talk about some of those relationships he had with musicians.

Well that was great, funny and shocking. Agree with Hayden in that about 20% is probably BS, but who cares it was great to read.

I'm convinced about 20% is lies, but whatever, it's fantastic. Wish more interviews were this interesting. Haven't read a good 180 from Paul Allen playing guitar to who killed JFK in a single interview in a long time.

That was crazy!!! I don't very much agree with his opinions of The Beatles and Elvis, but I already knew that Prince was a total asshole. That was hardly breaking news. And that Michael Jackson was kind of mediocre and overrated.
