1975 are categorically generic most of the time, but they've never been as bad as they are as they are on give yourself a try

JFC I thought that 1975 song that Pitchfork put at #1 was bad but it's like 'This Must Be The Place' compared to this dreck.

Yeah this is hard because neither is very good. Do I choose between a song that's entertainingly bad or one that's just not worthwhile? The 1975 is annoying as hell (named after Kerouac ffs) and I look forward to voting against them in future rounds, but I'll throw them a vote here because at least the song is catchy.

Gypsy Fairie Queen. It's sounds like a Nick Cave track from the late 80s.

I didn't expect The 1975 to get very far in this tourney, but I'd love it if it made it out of this round at least. The song is super overblown and ridiculous but that's the reason I love it.

I was pleasantly surprised by the guest musicians on the Marianne Faithful track but overall it didn't grab me nearly as much.

Not a Marianne Faithful fan and that choice is a good reason why... but that's still the relative winner; that 1975 is just a silly bleeding mess.
