I LOVE 90s Beck, but I'm pretty blase about this track. Definitely ok. I wouldn't change the station. But I wouldn't run out to grab the single either.

A draw. I'm here with a friend that prefers the Nickatina track, while I slightly run for Beck unconvincigly, we're not thrilled by the matchup actually.

I certainly like Girl- it's nice 'n' breezy. My fav' noughties Beck track you say? Probably Gamma Ray.

The Yaya track is intriguing but I'm not addicted after a first listen.

Close call but I'll opt for Beck.

Well yes, the verses obviously are, but I think there’s a disconnect in tone between San Quinn and Andre Nickatina. I also watched a live version performed by just Nickatina (backed by The Roots) and his ad-libs / dialogue were more ode than cautionary tale.

Unfamiliar with both prior to tonight, but I went with the coke.

Thanks for posting the video - I'd never seen it before and it made me miss my home away from home.
